Les Miserables – Official Trailer

Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Hellena Bonham Carter, and Tom Hooper, the director of The King’s Speech. Honestly, what more can you ask?

This new adaptation of Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (well, technically it’s based on the 1980 musical by Claude-Michel Schönberg) is set to be released on 14 of December 2012.

It certainly promises to be good, probably spectacular.

  1. I am unbelievably excited about this movie! I adore the musical – it's held a special place in my heart since I played Cosette in the stage version three years ago, and I love the trailer. I had no idea that Anne Hathaway was such a brilliant singer, but her rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" actually had me tearing up a bit. It's so much more than pitch and timbre, it's her theatricality. Can't wait to see it!

  2. My computer is too old to see the trailer but I just wanted to say my memories of reading Les Miserables many years ago come back, as if it were yesterday…Cossette, and a difficult, beautiful life, well lived.
