“Unless a man undertakes more than he possibly can do, he will never do all he can do.” – Henry Drummond
To push oneself to the limit. And beyond. In a way, this is what living a meaningful life is all about. The struggle, the desire to achieve more than seems possible.
Our potential is endless, our capacity for expansion exceeds our imagination.
More. More. More.
Going the extra mile is what this is all about. Going after all your impulses tell you to quit. Going after the chatterbox inside your head tells you to give up. Going after every single cell in your body tells you that it’s time to roll over and die.
This is what life is about. The struggle. The fight. The war we have to wage with ourselves, in our endless pursuit to become better than we were yesterday.
Ambition without hard work is useless.
Talent without hard work is useless.
Love without hard work is useless.
Being alive without working hard is useless.
