About hope…

“When you have lost hope, you have lost everything. And when you think all is lost, when all is dire and bleak, there is always hope.”

Love is a thing of hope. You forgive the other person, you give them a second chance, you overlook their flaws, you do all that because you hope they’ll change.

Life is a thing of hope. When the going gets tough, when it feels that everything is working against you, all you have to do is keep hope alive…

Success is a matter of hope. Not talent or luck or knowing the right people. Sheer power of will can be defined as one’s hope that his or hers hard work will eventually pay off.

Eventually…

is one of the words that define hope.

Someday…

No matter how hard things get, how you feel, how the world treats you…no matter how low you find yourself, you’ve got to hope that someday things will get better.

Becoming hopeless is the real death.

I suppose that we can overcome anything in life; we can go on long past our breaking point. We can endure, we can survive… But we must never lose hope.

Because it’s not the fall that breaks you…

it’s your decision to not get back up.

Nice – I was just reminding myself recently that all hope is never lost.

Quantum mechanics aka energy aka spirit! Nice article.

  4. Very interesting. But faith in Jesus Christ is better than hope. While we “hope” in Jesus it is based on known factors whereas “hope” as expressed in your blog is a maybe. A hope where maybe something will happen can only go so far. If the hoped for thing doesn’t materialize then you may lose all hope.

On the other hand, if one’s hope is centered in Jesus then you ask for something knowing He can deliver. And if He doesn’t give you your hoped for thing then He deemed it bad for you. A hope based on God is powerful and is not based on whether we get our hoped for things but upon the One Who knows us best and will always do right.
