So, today, for the first time, I managed to deadlift more than my own weight. Not by much. Not a world record breaking weight. And probably it took me longer than other folks to reach this milestone.
But it felt good. I felt invincible. Like a god. And I was thinking that a year ago I was struggling with a 10 pound barbell and couldn’t even do a single correct pushup.
And this thinking of this made me happy.
This is how you find happiness: becoming better at something.
Happiness hides behind words such as failure, frustration, discipline, laziness, fatigue, doubt, and many others just like them.
Which makes happiness the by-product of a good fight. After you’ve given your all and succeded inspite of setbacks and problems.
That is all.
