Heart

To most of us this simple word means much more than just the muscle that keeps us alive. It defines our ability to feel, to love, to care, to suffer deeply, to evolve, to fight on… it is the source of all our power, our greatest strength and our greatest weakness.

To me the word implies all that is good and bad and wonderful and frightening in a human being. It’s the essence of who we are, the inexorable truth of the human condition. Found in the center of what we call one’s soul, the heart is the passion we are capable of mustering, is the strength that we are capable of summoning, the ability to love…

Heart is where your true self lives. Heart is what you put into this world without expecting anything in return. Heart is what makes you unique, what makes you capable of all the greatness that you once thought was reserved for others.

We have these strange words used to define ourselves and those around us: smart, funny, beautiful, good, bad…

We define things by using numbers. IQ, EQ, this or that amount of money. Followers, subscribers, fans, comments, likes…

We can measure everything in this world. We can analyze it, intelectualize it, describe it…

But you can’t measure heart.

No, you just can’t.

You can’t measure one man’s dream.

You can’t see it in their eyes, as they’re crying, how badly they want something.

How many sleepless nights they spent trying to make their dreams come true.

Most people are lukewarm. Neither hot, neither cold. They just don’t know what they want, what makes them feel alive. Their hearts are slowly being replaced by fear, by self-imposed limits, by regrets… Other people tell them who they should be, and this becomes their reality. They slowly die. They become the walking dead…

They become “realistic.”

They’re no longer hungry, they no longer endure pain and suffering, they no longer possess the desire to do whatever it takes to get what they want.

The listen to those voices that keep telling them that they’re not good enough.

Yes, the voices are right. You are not good enough. You not even good. Never were.

You are great.

You are phenomenal.

You were born to achieve greatly.

That heart is beating inside your chest, pumping blood through your blood…that is not there to keep you alive.

You weren’t born to die.

You were born to become immortal.

To change the little bit of universe around you.

To inspire others.

To prove to yourself that you can become better each day.

My dream is slowly dying. But I keep fighting. I need your help. I need to raise the funds that I need to keep writing, to start making videos again. To keep training.

I want this.

I need this.

I need your help.

Any amount matters. Any amount helps me…

It doesn’t matter.

If you believe in this dream of mine, if you think that I should keep fighting, that I should keep doing what I love doing, you can help me out by contributing any amount you see fit via PayPal to to contact [at] cristianmihai [dot] net. Any amount matters. Any amount helps me immensely.

Cristian I love the way your writing is evolving. I read your words as rewriting ideas and concepts in the Bible in contemporary language and terms easier to digest than the KJV.

As to ‘Heart,’ the Resurrected Christ says Today: You hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draws close to me with their mouth, and honours me with their lips; but their “heart” is far from me.
In VAIN they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

As to being “lukewarm” in our contemporary world, this is the Active Spirit of OUR GENERATIONS.

    These things say the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the Creation of God;
I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot.
So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and don’t know that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:[….] To him that overcomes will I grant to sit WITH ME in my throne, even as I ALSO OVERCAME, and AM set down with my Father in his throne.
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

You write, They just don’t know what they want, what makes them feel alive. The problem with Materialistic Christianity is there is so much to want, people have lost sight of what they really need in finding Peace, Joy, and Satisfaction within themselves no matter how others behave.

ISIS destroyed the Islamic Mosque containing the tomb of Jonah in the Whale fame in 2014 in Nineveh, Iraq. The People of this World don’t recognize that FACT and REALITY in this MATERIAL WORLD as a ‘Sign’ to this Generation, the World is at the same state as that World City, Nineveh, recorded in the Old Testament Book of Books from some 3000 years ago.

And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than 60,000 persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

A 1000 years later Christ answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.’

    Ya gotta have heart!
