It wasn’t only wickedness and scheming that made people unhappy, it was confusion and misunderstanding; above all, it was the failure to grasp the simple truth that other people are as real as you. – Ian McEwan
Lots of people read my words. Some comment, others like the posts or choose to share them, others choose to do nothing…
Lots of people read my pleas for help, yet choose to do nothing.
It seems so far away… my tragedy, my struggle.
Like reading a story.
I may or may not be real.
Words on a computer.
But the truth is that I am real. And I need your help to overcome a very difficult period for me. To fix medical issues that are urgent in nature.
Of course, some of you, even though able to acknowledge my own humanity, will say you have your own issues to worry about. Or you might say you’ve got nothing to gain from helping me.
You have the right to think like that. It’s a free world, after all.
But I choose to believe there are enough people willing to help. People who’d like to donate, as much as they can, towards me being able to properly enjoy life once again.
Two thousand dollars left to raise. Two thousand.
If you’d like to help me out, you can contribute any amount you see fit here.
Any amount at all helps me, brings me closer to reaching my goal.
