Focus

Focus. The ability to do what has to be done, even when you don’t feel like it.
To do the work.

To enjoy the process.

The ability to drown out the inner critic, to ignore the naysayers.

Focus.

What you focus on, happens. What you expect to see, that’s what will be in front of your eyes.

Life is a mirror.

We are all our own prophets.

Our stories about who we are and what we are capable of influence what we do.

As they say,  there are no hopeless situations, only people who think hopelessly.

  1. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
And now abides faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

  2. Yes, the ability to do what you have to do even when you don’t want to do so. That’s also when you’ll become successful in the process. Being able to do what you want is easy, but what about the grit work that you hate that gets you to the point of success. The ability to suck it up and do it. You might be laughed, ridiculed, even fail, but you do it anyways. Because it’s better to do and fail than to do nothing at all.
