  1. Or you can just try not to deny anything bad that actually has happened with you/is happening with you, and just let them flow through you, face them and accept them. It’s not self-pity or whining, it’s taking care of yourself, practicing empathy and getting resilient. Big fan of Atlas shrugged, changed my life; but Ayn Rand didn’t have much understanding of psychology, something I came to know when I was doing some follow up after reading a very disturbing part of Fountainhead.. I will post the reference as soon as I find it again.
