The Worst Blog Post Ever™

The Art of Blogging

A blank page. An empty Word Document. Saving an empty draft on WordPress. Just the title staring back at you.

You having a staring contest with digital white upon white upon white…

You want to get that blog post written — you really do — but the words just aren’t flowing. They’re not even dripping.

  1. You need a notebook. Then the words will come. Or wash the dishes and all your best thoughts and writing ideas will come into your mind. But you have your wet gloves on and need to get to an appointment. You don’t have time to jot it all down. Take your notebook out with you and write down what you can remember. That works for me. I have a notepad in every room of the house. I hardly ever write straight into my blog. I can relate to the empty page.
