Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them. – William Shakespeare

It seems to me that it is some people’s inexorable destiny to become great. But to most folks, greatness is simply about being determined enough.

The only way out of a struggle is to hustle.

There’s no other way. No substitute for hard work. No shortcut.

Simply put, you can’t climb the ladder to success with your hands in your pockets.

There’s no elevator.

That being said, it is probably realistic to understand and expect the following: about 90% of your plans will fail.

When learning something new, you’ll suck at it.

Give up this romantic notion… nothing works the first few times.

Of course, the easiest thing to do is to admire greatness and feel that you too can be great.

Seems simple enough, right?

But it’s not.

Most people quit when they notice this huge gap between what they know is great and what they’re actually doing.

You’ve got to keep pushing until you close the gap.

By sheer volume of work, you accumulate the experience, the knowledge, the vision to become just as great as you thought you could be.

It’s all hard work. It’s all about effort, will power, the ability to learn and adapt.

No way to go around it. Sorry.

  1. Very inspiring and very true and that’s what we need to remember that we will never be pros at something the first time we ever attempt it we must try and try and maybe even fail and keep trying until we reach our target and we shouldn’t ever lower that target so that we can easily achieve it because then we are only doing what’s inside our comfort zone and not exploring the outside!
