For some reason ever since I learned about rickets in elementary school every time I hear “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” I think about rickets…isn’t it crazy what sticks in our developing minds?

I like the spirit of this. But sometimes, losing the job means losing the healthcare means not getting the transplant or the scrip you need. And that means you die. I think many of us are closer to that kind of situation than we’d care to think about.

I know that I am only on a waypoint of a journey and I know what the end is; I do not know and when it comes, it will come. The past is only regrets about roads not taken and embarrassments about those taken. The future is not yet written. Live in the present and pursue what you want knowing you may not finish. You do not have time to worry about loss.
