Haters Gonna Hate

I replied to this gentleman’s comment, but there’s something else I’d like to discuss here.

First of all, this guy’s been commenting all sorts of inanities on my blog ever since I disagreed with him on some topic that I was writing about. On my blog. After that, he kind of went insane, because he keeps telling me what I should write about, how, and what I should do with my life.

He’s obviously a troubled individual, who is frustrated with a life spent doing nothing of value, and he’s also probably pissed that he can’t help me in this situation I’m in (which could happen to anyone.) and this made him “grumpy.”

I have zero tolerance for such behavior, and I do like to remind him (and everyone else for that matter) that this blog is my house, and as you are in my house, you obey my rules or you can get out. Simple as that. And I write what I want, how I want, and when I want.

That being said, as the situation is still delicate, you can donate any amount you see fit via PayPal here.

And haters can keep on hating…

  1. Hahahaha omg what a dear, he thinks he’s helping by giving you sage advice, since age clearly gives one that authority, and the elderly are society’s elders. They are right all the time about everything, because they are old enough to forget they ever have been wrong.

      • I don’t know the value of different currencies in other countries, so I plead complete ignorance as to how much 20 Ron will get you. But Google says that’s $6-$7 Australian, and that’s how much I can pay for a friggen iced tea, or a dozen cage eggs. Living large, that is.

          • Bottom shelf instant noodles, a loaf of bread and garbage dumpster diving, probably. Also, why buy beverages when there is rain to drink?! Thrifty and healthy, the Lord always provides. 🙄
The elderly don’t eat much anyway, so they’ll be fine. Strapping young men (and women) in their prime need actual food to survive, not just in body but also in spirit and mind.

  2. Seems like a good day to hear these words from the good emperor:

When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: the people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous and surly. They are like this because they can’t tell good from evil. But I have seen the beauty of good, and the ugliness of evil, and have recognized that the wrongdoer has a nature related to my own – not of the same blood and birth, but the same mind, and possessing a share of the divine. And so none of them can hurt me. No one can implicate me in ugliness.

  3. I do not understand how someone who titles themselves as grumpy feels entitled to an opinion. I mean, what else are you to expect other than a grouchy, old, pathetic, crabby, person who clearly has too much time on their hands? The sense of entitlement others feel they may have because they are being asked to donate baffles me.

Thanks for this post that reminds others that our blogs are exactly that, ours. Keep doing whatcha do!!

  4. I’ve always found Christian’s articles SUPER helpful. Thanks, Christian…for every thing you do. Bloggers have it tough enough without…hate….or the ugliness of EVIL. It is a VERY ugly thing; evil.

Does anyone know the word “officious?” It means:
-Assertive of authority in an annoyingly domineering way, especially with regard to petty or trivial matters.
“the security people were very officious”
-intrusively enthusiastic in offering help or advice; interfering.

God! I HATE to admit this, but i’m Guilty of this. The second definition is more true of me, but the first one I can sometimes do, too. A lot of caring acquaintances in forum pointed this out to me lately; they were really honest with me. I actually love boundaries…and love it when people tell me theirs. When some one tells me in either a nice way or not so nice,..I always get really embarrassed. But the nice one is not as much so. I will always honor both though. It is REALLY hurtful when someone WONT honor a boundary (which is actually SUPER EASY TO HONOR).

Christian…I’m so sorry this is happen to you. I mean that. I hope it resolves. I think most people do try their best with what they have to offer, but then…some people have nothing to offer and then they take, too. Not good…and that can be a very evil thing to do.

Again, Thank you for all you do…your blog is AMAZING!!!

    Peace in Spirit.

  5. “Obey my rules or get out,” made me smile. I had a very similar problem recently on another site, with someone who had a problem with what I was trying to convey through art. I tried to defend my position with logic and reason; the other person turned to a barrage of juvenile insults. I think these people are unfortunately quite unavoidable. … Sorry you had a hater too. I find your blogging tips very useful.

  6. Hmmm… user name checks out.

Bottom line here is that you were withdrawing cash – cash which will be used for whatever purpose, and stuff happened, and cash is (hopefully) temporarily gone…

Any news on your ATM situation?

    Have a nice day.
