We have this insatiable inner hunger for personal development.
We all want to find the secret to living the good life, and we want it instantly delivered to our smartphones if possible.
We have Tony Robbins, Tom Bilyeu, Gary Vee, Dale Carnegie, Mark Manson, Robin Sharma, The 4-Hour Workweek, The Eight-Minute Abs, The Secret, The Law of Attraction, NLP, Rich Dad, Poor Dad … it’s all there, all fighting for your attention.
Self-help is the trend. So is self-love. So is calling yourself self-made. Self-employed…
There are so many gurus out there that it seems like all you need is yourself and a bunch of their books.
There are about a million blogs out there sharing lifehacks, tips, and tricks to help you get anything you want in life, and reminding you every minute of every day that, “You are enough. You are beautiful. You are perfect the way you are.”
Yoga and meditation. Mindfulness. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Hypnosis. Binaural Tones.
All this is supposedly helping us become one with the universe, allowing us to manifest our desires and dreams and aspirations.
I know, because I tried them all. I have notebooks filled with positive affirmations and whatnot. I used to listen to binaural tones, and I used to fall asleep to Paul McKenna whispering supreme self-confidence into my ears.
So, then… why the hell was I struggling? Why did I not feel more confident, but quite the opposite? Why did I feel filthy, repugnant, irrelevant? Why did I feel weak? Why did I cry myself to sleep at night? Why did my voice shake when I had to talk to someone?
What good is knowing that you should work out to be healthy if you never go to the gym?
What good is knowing everything there is to know about nutrition if you only eat fast food?
What good is repeating a bunch of affirmations about you being confident, successful, and attractive if you spend the rest of your time on the coach, binge-watching TV shows?
If you know what you should be doing to have everything you want in life, tell me, what don’t you do it? What’s holding you back?
Is it that that you don’t want it bad enough or that you don’t believe enough or that you aren’t close enough with your god or your inner soul or the universe? Is that it?
There’s a reason why personal development is a multi-billion dollar industry while 9 out of every 10 businesses fail within their first year. There’s a reason why there’s literally billions of words out there on the Internet designed to help you get the most out of life, and yet more and more people are feeling lonely, depressed, and anxious.
There’s a reason why watching one inspirational video after another, or reading one bestselling self-help book after another is not doing much for you.
But do not worry.
Literally, for free, which means you don’t have to give me any money at all, I will tell you everything you need to know to get anything you want in life.
I will tell you everything you’ve ever needed to hear about becoming great, about living the life you imagined, finding your soulmate, earning more than you are right now, and getting what you want.
It’s so simple, you might not believe me when I share this secret with you.
The true secret.
Nike had it right. All along, they’ve been sharing the secret to success, and nobody’s been paying attention.
JUST DO IT!
What? Is this the secret to having everything you want from life?
You see, success isn’t about being smart, or knowing something others don’t, success is simply deciding to take action. There are things you can only learn by acting.
You just have to force yourself to do it.
If you want more money, you need to force yourself to try anything you can to earn more money. If you want a girlfriend, you’ve got to go out there and try to find yourself a girlfriend.
Whatever it is you want, you’ve got to overcome the emotional (and sometimes physical) pain and go after it as if your life depends on it.
Why? Because it does. It truly does.
You must get comfortable with being at least a little bit uncomfortable every single day of your life.
In case you feel cheated that I might have withheld the actual secret to success and fulfillment and lasting happiness, I’ll say it again: the only way you can get something you want, after reading about it, fantasizing about it, planning about it, and doing some affirmations about you already having it while staring yourself in the mirror, is to do it.
Just do it.
Stop reading everything you can on whatever you want out of live and just go after it.
I’m telling you this because that’s what I did. That’s how I changed my life. One day I decided to do, and I just did. And it worked.
So, just do it!
