“We’re here to put a dent in the universe. Otherwise why else even be here?”
Steve Jobs
Do you want to know what really grinds my gears? All those who live quiet lives, all those who go to their graves with untold stories, with unfulfilled dreams, with broken hearts.
All those who are afraid of failure.
All the people who are so afraid of falling that they cut down their own wings, never to be able to learn how to fly.
That’s what makes me upset, that’s why I am writing these words.
If you want something, and you are trying to rationalize your fear somehow, don’t. Just don’t. Stop it. I mean it. Now, take a deep breath. It’s time to go after what you want. It’s time to put a dent in the universe.
You see, people don’t fail because of high ambitions. No, they fail because they always aim too low and hit. The ones who are always “busy,” mistaking motion for action. The ones who set themselves attainable goals, the ones who tell everyone that it’s better to be realistic.
That’s a mistake. That’s going to break your heart when you’re 70, dying, and you will be begging for moments, thinking of all the years you have wasted. It will be too late then.
If you want to conquer the world, conquer yourself first. Think of the highest possible impact you can have in this world.
What’s the absolute most you could get out of life? The highest purpose?
If you write, what if you were to set yourself the goal of being a bestselling author, translated into 40 or more languages?
If you own a business, why not aim to turn it into a billion dollar company?
To paraphrase the great David Ogilvy, aim for the company of immortals.
What can you do today that will help you put a dent in the universe tomorrow? How can you contribute more than you consume? How can you have a lasting impact on the world around you?
Be honest in answering these questions, and then go all in towards the highest mountain that you can find. Conquer it, knowing full well that you will not let the fire within you die out.
Most people rust out. They slowly die inside because they have never used up their potential. They don’t wear out, no, they just sit on the bench, never asking the coach to play.
What do you want to do? What is the most that you could do for this world?
What are you waiting for? Go do it.
Follow me on Instagram, where I share the type of advice that is going to motivate you to conquer the world. With one hand behind your back.
Thank you Cristian for the motivational kick in the butt. 😁❤️

Yes, we are. Well put. When we are not ourselves, when we do not actionably put into place our dreams, there’s a hole in the Universe puzzle where we were supposed to be. No reason to be MIA front one’s own life. It’s impossible to hide from ourselves as we know where we are, though strangely, people ARE able to hide themselves away from themselves.
I prefer to reveal character and keep my boundaries on a workout regimen to both train people how to treat me, as well as enhance, reinforce, and strengthen them. That in itself is simply one tool I use to tune the clarity of my voice and vision through action as one would tune a piano. Not nebulous at all. A little Neptunian boundarylessness, though not vague.
There are no dead end roads. When you get to the end of one, what’s the view? Experience that before going, hmmmppph. Worth keeping the experience? Cool, then do. Not. Just as cool, and don’t. As I expressed in the book portion of “Tarot in the Land of Mystereum” (Schiffer Publications 2011), “Forgetting is for getting. It makes more room for the good stuff.” There are also no failures. Only OFLEs. OpportunitIes For Learning Experienced.
Heck, even fear is a solid navigation tool when not allowed to be hijacked by anxiety distorting it into being afraid. DUCK! Yep, glad I listened. Fear, the cone zone on the highway. No need to drive through them and off the portion of the bridge that’s out. Well, if you have a flying car… And, FEAR, like the butterflies in the stomach before a speech. Your anxiety will tell you you are in danger. Your Will will tell you it’s just warming up the car, preparation for activity nerves. FEAR. Feeling Energized And Ready yet?
